Flashman positioned Red Fly to work on one of the biggest brands on the planet, Star Wars. Lucas Arts had multiple platforms in development, but needed to add two additional skus for launch. Flashman positioned Red Fly Studios for the project based on their capabilities with character-based action adventure games, top quality art and animation chops on the Wii. We continued to build Red Fly's story as a premier Wii developer, starting with their own original IP game, Mushroom Men, then delivering on Ghostbusters, and now working with a top publisher and brand in the industry.

Client: Capybara Games

Flashman met the founders of Capybara games when they had just formed their company and were pitching their own original IP games on mobile, but had not shipped a game as a company to date. We recognized the team had great talent and enthusiasm, but needed help on the business side to get their studio off the ground. We positioned Capybara with Disney to develop a mobile (J2ME and BREW) game for the blockbuster movie, Cars.

Flashman acquired the Stickwars® brand, one of the first Castle Defense Strategy games to have launched on the iOs platform to gain a foothold in the mobile space and help build a network of consumers for our PulsePlay mobile marketing platform. Flashman launched the 3rd title in the series on both iOs and Android mobile platforms.

Stickwars 1 & 2 had had over 12M Downloads, while Stickwars 3 was designed as a premium game and code was half complete.

Our client Zen Studios has been developing and publishing digital pinball games for about a decade. Zen started out by making original IP tables, but we quickly realized that a good strategic move for Zen would be to seek out licenses. Since the company was focusing on digital pinball, and was not constrained by traditional real world pinball playfield constraints, Zen Studios could use the power of a brands to widen Zen Pinball's market and capture a larger audience.

Ghostbusters

Flashman positioned Red Fly Studios as the lead developer to work on a Ghostbusters project with Activision for a multi-platform deal (Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP), based on their success the previous year with the original IP game - Mushroom Men. We wanted to continue building on their character-based action adventure experience on the Wii platform and Ghostbusters was perfect for their capabilities.
