Iron Galaxy had a reputation for working on fighting games and an existing relationship with Microsoft. As a result, Iron Galaxy were asked to help out with Killer Instinct, starting with Season 2, 3 and then Season 4.
THE CHALLENGE
Iron Galaxy started out as a small six person shop to handle ports and technical consulting. Some of their early work was on fighting games such as, Streetfighter III, Marvel vs Capcom Origins, and Darkstalkers Resurrection, where they earned a reputation for execution and as a studio that understands the genre.
To build on Iron Galaxy’s existing relationship with Microsoft and grow Iron Galaxy’s game studio business, Flashman worked on their business strategy to support Iron Galaxy’s goal: to move from tech consulting/porting company, to a full production game studio and to develop their own IP.
OBJECTIVES
To transition Iron Galaxy from a six person shop handling ports and technical consulting to a full production game studio, working with top publishing partners and developing their own IP
Help expand their list of publishing partners and increase their revenue
